Job Description
Software Development
• Perform driver/stack and S/W application development
• Perform development of embbedded F/W for FTDI family uC platform
• Review and develop S/W specification
• Perform Microsoft WHQL certification if needed
• Perform production test S/W
• Perform S/W manual, user guide, application note and production release documents
• Support transfer of products to production
Technical/Customer Support
• Provide technical support to key customers and field engineers.
• Customer design-in support.
• Prepare training material and conduct training, if needed.
• Perform driver/stack and S/W application development
• Perform development of embbedded F/W for FTDI family uC platform
• Review and develop S/W specification
• Perform Microsoft WHQL certification if needed

Technical/Customer Support
• Provide technical support to key customers and field engineers.

Job Requirement
• Degree/Master in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 3 years or above experience in the area of software development
• Working experience from design to production are essential
• Experience in process and quality development flow such as CMMi, structured product development cycle is a plus
• Knowledge and working experience in one or more of the following:
o Microprocessor system, architecture and development.
o Software compiler, assembler, linker, debugger and integrated environment tools development.
o Device driver and S/W stack development.
o Embedded S/W or application development on WinCE, Window Mobile, Android, linux, Mac OS or embedded RTOS (such as VxWork/PSOS/ThreadX) platform.
o Working experience in different OOP languages/platform such as Delphi, RAD Studio, VisualWorks, Visual Basic, QT, Java, C/C++, C#, Python etc.
o Working knowledge on internet protocol (TCPIP/UDP/ICMP etc), internet stack/socket development, internet security, uPNP, WiFi Direct etc.
o Knowledge in connectivity technology such as USB, WIFI, Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, GPS, UART, SPI, I2C.
o Successful candidates will be considered for relocation to Singapore.
