What You Will Do

***Job Description:
As QA Engineer, successful candidates will have to perform the following tasks under supervision of our Senior IT Staff:
• Ensure software and source code meets functional and non-functional quality criteria
• Work closely with our Software Developers to optimize testing procedures and bug turnaround times
• Suggest, design, implement and document solutions for automation of Web Application testing

What You Are Good At

To support our offshore software development operations in Vietnam, we are looking for a QA Engineer for our IT Department. Successful candidates will be active in the scope and should possess the requirements as below.

***Scope of Responsibilities:

• Provide Quality Assurance in software development projects for international customers under supervision of our team leaders from Vietnam and Germany. Further information about such projects could be possibly discussed during interviews.
• Working directly for Spectos Asia in the local office in Hanoi, Vietnam and cooperate directly with partner companies in Hanoi and other sites in Vietnam, on-site if necessary.
• Other assignments within the ability of the successful candidates when required.

***Requirements:

• Prior experience in quality assurance for web applications
• Experience in Web Application technologies HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• At least one programming language (preferably JS, PHP, Ruby or Python)
• Good command in English reading and writing
• Ability to work both independently and as a team worker
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, creative, self -motivated, result –oriented
• Willingness to learn new technologies both by training and self-learning

***Advantages:

• Experience in end-to-end testing tools: Selenium, WebDriver, Protractor, Jmeter, Apache Benchmark…
• Knowledge of Angular JS
• Knowledge of Virtualization technologies: Vagrant, VirtualBox
• Skills in using Linux-based operating systems, usage and scripting of Linux-command line (Bash or similar)
• Experience in Scrum or other agile processes
• Experience in development tools (Git, SVN, JIRA, Jenkins)
• Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS, Android)
• Experience in working with international partners from US or Europe
