Role Description: Amdocs requires a Software Engineer ( Java developer) for its software development team in HCMC Vietnam. The role entails:
? Strong Java programming & debugging.
? Software design and development according to business requirements.
? Improvement of our underlying frameworks
? Continuous integration, unit testing, defect resolution, and peer reviews.
Job Requirement
? A high degree of excellence with Java version 5, 6, 7 & 8 ( 2-7 years of commercial experience is required).
? The candidate must be well versed with following technologies:
? Java programming and debugging
? Object-oriented software design
? Localization concepts, Unit & integration testing
? Subversion, including branching methodologies
? Localization concepts, socket programming, java threads, file handling, collection framework
? Unix/Linux Environment
? Web Services ( SOAP)
? Exposure/hands-on Life-ray
? PL/SQL query tuning
Preferences :
? SEAM framework & EJB
? Exposure/hands-on Life-ray
? Experience on integration with systems in the financial domain ( e.g. creditcard systems, identity management, payment gateways, Western Union etc.)
? Experience on an agile team using Scrum, XP, etc.
? Experience on SOA integration
