Job Description
Development and maintenance of our Machine Translation applications, including:
-Coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
-Assisting with requirements definition.
-Assisting with system testing, deployment and maintenance.
-Reviewing existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
-Supporting in analysis of software development costs and schedules.
Responsibilities
You will work on maintaining our current Machine Translation Engines (Linux environment).
You will work on developing a Web portal for MT evaluation (Windows environment).
You will work on developing a Middle tier Platform to link both Linux and Windows MT environments.
You will assist our Business Excellence department by studying technical feasibility of customers’ development requests.
Primary Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
• 1 year experience in Linux (Suse Linux Enterprise Server or Other) and Perl.
• Proficient with regular expressions
• 2 years experience in .NET programming, C# Language, Visual Studio 2008 or above;
• .NET Framework, WinForms, ASP.NET, XML , ADO.NET;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment, self-study and pro-activeness.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Experience with AJAX, Apache, MYSQL
• Experience with web-related technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, XSLT, CSS, PHP)
• Experience with Devexpress
• Experience with the Following Microsoft technologies
o Exchange Server
o Sharepoint
o IIS
o Silverlight
